Rate is one line on a lender's policy. Belmont reads the other lines too, so the submitted file lands at the rate the borrower actually qualifies for.
Published bands are the typical range each segment sees at submission. A clean-credit borrower with stable income lands in the prime band; files with a blemish, complex history, or limited documentation move into near-prime or non-prime.
Rates move with the OCR and with lender-specific funding appetite. The tables below reflect the Belmont panel as at May 2026.
